Alessandro Tagliente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Ferreri in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Basiago AFC's Ciro Lepori sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carter Piermattei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edoardo Renzetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Tagliente having to interfere. Alessandro Tagliente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Ferreri in the 32nd minute of the match. If Edoardo Renzetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosimo Iachini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Carter Piermattei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Lepori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Piermattei having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Edoardo Renzetti made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Edoardo Renzetti took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Alessandro Tagliente to make any attempt to save it. When Fabio Capone fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orti AFC's protests and gave Fabio Capone a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Orti AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fabio Capone hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Edoardo Renzetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinando Ciarrocchi's late challenge caught a Orti AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinando Ciarrocchi helped the player get up and apologised. Ferdinando Ciarrocchi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Alvaro Rotili sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro Tagliente skillfully saved the ball. Carter Piermattei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Lepori in the 72nd minute of play. Carter Piermattei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Lepori went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ciro Del Grosso's late challenge caught a Basiago AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Del Grosso helped the player get up and apologised. 76 minutes into the game, one of Orti AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alvaro Migliorati placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Carter Piermattei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Iachini in the 81st minute of play. Edoardo Renzetti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Tagliente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Carter Piermattei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Iachini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Basiago AFC booed when Orti AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Catapano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Cosimo Iachini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basiago AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosimo Iachini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carter Piermattei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro Lepori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Orti AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Basiago AFC.
