Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ciccio Scrima got the match started through his kick off. Edmondo Montini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Dario Foddis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmondo Montini struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Dario Foddis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fastello. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fastello! In the 14th minute, Ennio Miccio made a precise shot to the right of Emanuele Di Loreto. Fastello's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Emanuele Di Loreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Morelli in the 19th minute of play. Dario Foddis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Montini in the 29th minute of play. Edmondo Montini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuele Di Loreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Scrima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Morelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Di Loreto having to interfere. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fastello's goalkeeper Emanuele Di Loreto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Federico Morelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Edmondo Montini made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Comunardo Allemandi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fastello's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mezzano the free kick. A collision led to Fastello getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Comunardo Allemandi hit a great ball. Dario Foddis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Ascani, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ettore Giandomenico hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Ciccio Scrima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Christian Bianchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute of the match Florian Uguccioni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dario Foddis skillfully saved the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Fastello's goalkeeper Emanuele Di Loreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Morelli. If Edmondo Montini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony Ascani in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Foddis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmondo Montini succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Mezzano's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
