If Cristoforo Tiburtini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristoforo Tiburtini came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ciro Del Nero could save by the left post. In the 17th minute of the match Paina Brugazzo got a corner. Roversano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio Lucentini ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Fortunato Stragapede kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciro Del Nero. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. After 30 played minutes, Roversano's Anselmo Visintin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carter Maietta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Roversano reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Fortunato Stragapede managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paina Brugazzo's supporters rose to their feet, but Fortunato Stragapede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Del Nero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roversano's Ciro Del Nero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Roversano from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fortunato Stragapede in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Del Nero saved Roversano from getting behind. Ciro Del Nero made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Cristoforo Tiburtini sent off a good shot on target. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felice Franceschelli to strike the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Biagio Garofalo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carter Maietta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 58 minutes into the game, Paina Brugazzo's Fortunato Stragapede nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Del Nero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Paina Brugazzo booed when Roversano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Garofalo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
