Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carter Giolo started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Roversano AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Daniele Di Liddo hit a great ball. Carter Giolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Gelsomini having to interfere. Alex Lombardi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Francesco Paolini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borghi's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Paolini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrico Gelsomini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th match minute, Borghi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Berardi to maneuver through the defense. Dino Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Francesco Lorefice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Francesco Lorefice managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Roversano AFC's Dino Negri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 28 minutes into the match, Roversano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carter Giolo came free, but Enrico Gelsomini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Roversano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Lombardi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 32 minutes, Carter Giolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borghi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carter Giolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dino Negri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Francesco Lorefice skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 39 played minutes Roversano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Di Liddo. 40 minutes into the match, Roversano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carter Giolo came free, but Enrico Gelsomini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Lorefice made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Dino Negri sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute Francesco Paolini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Gelsomini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dario Improta fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borghi's protests and gave Dario Improta a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes Borghi got a freekick which was hit by Dario Improta. Roversano AFC's Ernesto Causio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 49th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Francesco Lorefice but with some difficulty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Sciamanna in the 53rd minute of play forced Borghi's goalkeeper Francesco Lorefice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dino Negri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francesco Lorefice having to make a save. When Alvaro Sciamanna came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Roversano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Sciamanna couldn't finish the play. If Dino Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Concetto Romanese mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borghi and the Roversano AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Borghi's Concetto Romanese got a free kick in the 78th minute. Alvaro Sciamanna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Francesco Lorefice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Borghi got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Romanese. 82 minutes into the match, Borghi's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Sciamanna came free, but Francesco Lorefice reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Carter Giolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Borghi's Carter Giolo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrico Gelsomini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Borghi getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Concetto Romanese hit a great ball. Francesco Lorefice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Di Liddo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Sciamanna in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Lorefice prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
