Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 5thth minute of the game Alvaro Sciamanna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponzana AFC's Alberto Milani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristiano Mannucci's late challenge caught a Roversano AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Mannucci helped the player get up and apologised. If Amerigo Marinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Dino Negri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roversano AFC's Dino Negri got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Sciamanna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Milani was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Daniele Di Liddo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ettore Arpaia, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Alvaro Sciamanna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Daniele Di Liddo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roversano AFC's Alvaro Sciamanna got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ponzana AFC's Cristiano Mannucci got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Sciamanna to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Sciamanna in the 55th minute of play forced Ponzana AFC's goalkeeper Alberto Milani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Roversano AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alex Lombardi hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amerigo Marinelli in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrico Gelsomini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Roversano AFC's Alvaro Sciamanna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Milani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ponzana AFC's zone, Dino Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Milani came out of the goal and Dino Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ponzana AFC's Alberto Milani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Sciamanna in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Ponzana AFC booed when Roversano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Causio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Amerigo Marinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ponzana AFC's zone, Dino Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Milani came out of the goal and Dino Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roversano AFC's Enrico Gelsomini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Roversano AFC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Ponzana AFC defense, Alvaro Sciamanna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Milani. The Ponzana AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Milani should have stopped the shot. Roversano AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
