In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cornigliano Ligure FC's goalkeeper Fulvio Nanni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciro Di Sante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beppe Belardi's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. A collision led to Granze Di Camin getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Bernardo Mazzei hit a great ball. If Ciro Grandis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Di Nucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Nanni having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Ernesto Di Nucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granze Di Camin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Di Nucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Grandis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ciro Di Sante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosimo Crisantemo charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosimo Crisantemo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Biagio Marchetti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fulvio Nanni. Cornigliano Ligure FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Emiliano Cordone charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Cordone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emiliano Cordone hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Beppe Belardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Di Sante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florian Martinelli during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frank De Grandis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Granze Di Camin's zone, Beppe Belardi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Di Sante came out of the goal and Beppe Belardi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosimo Crisantemo was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Cornigliano Ligure FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cosimo Crisantemo hit a great ball. Enrico Galli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulvio Nanni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Ciro Di Sante was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Ciro Grandis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciro Grandis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 83rd minute, Ciro Grandis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Granze Di Camin's Cristoforo Festuccia got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Ciro Grandis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Grandis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Cornigliano Ligure FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Granze Di Camin.
