Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlo Monticelli started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Druento AFC booed when Cornigliano Ligure FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo De Iuliis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Druento AFC's Carlo Monticelli, in the 4th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Druento AFC. Carlo Monticelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Nanni having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Ferdinando Cusumano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulvio Nanni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Beppe Belardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davide Scatena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppe Belardi in the 23rd minute of play. Carlo Monticelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Nanni having to interfere. Fulvio Nanni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Preda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beppe Belardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beppe Belardi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Davide Scatena having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beppe Belardi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amedeo Di Crescenzo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amedeo Di Crescenzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amedeo Di Crescenzo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 53 minutes of play, Cornigliano Ligure FC's Ciro Grandis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davide Scatena was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th match minute, Druento AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Crisantemo to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Grandis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Davide Scatena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fortunato Capone fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Druento AFC's protests and gave Fortunato Capone a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Fortunato Capone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ciro Grandis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. Carlo Monticelli struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Fulvio Nanni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Druento AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Cornigliano Ligure FC's zone, Carlo Monticelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulvio Nanni came out of the goal and Carlo Monticelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulvio Nanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Monticelli in the 83rd minute of play. Druento AFC were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Cornigliano Ligure FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniele Riccardi took the corner. Alessio Romagnoli tried in the 85th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Fulvio Nanni a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-2. Ferdinando Cusumano hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Alberigo Preda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Druento AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
