He was immediately shown a red card. 2 minutes into the game, one of Sorrivoli AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Concetto Amadei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sorrivoli AFC's Carlo Bordon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Sorrivoli AFC from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Sorrivoli AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Campana came free, but Carlo Bordon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edoardo Cappucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ciro Colecchia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlo Bordon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Concetto Amadei in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, Sorrivoli AFC's Carlo Bordon got control of the ball when Concetto Amadei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augusto Helfer charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Helfer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Sorrivoli AFC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Helfer. If Concetto Amadei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alfonsine AFC's goalkeeper Ciro Colecchia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciro Colecchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Cappucci in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, Sorrivoli AFC's Carlo Bordon got control of the ball when Concetto Amadei tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Campana to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Concetto Amadei notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sorrivoli AFC's Carlo Bordon. Carlo Bordon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardo Campana might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlo Bordon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Campana ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Alfonsine AFC's Edoardo Marinucci got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Edoardo Marinucci fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alfonsine AFC's protests and gave Edoardo Marinucci a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Alfonsine AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Marinucci. A long shot from Eraldo Marinetti in the 64th minute of play was well struck, but Ciro Colecchia made a really good save at the right post. 64 minutes into the game, Cesare Ferretti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alfonsine AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sorrivoli AFC the free kick. Cesare Ferretti kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Alfonsine AFC's zone, Edoardo Cappucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Colecchia came out of the goal and Edoardo Cappucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 69 played minutes Alfonsine AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Marinucci. Ciro Colecchia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edoardo Cappucci went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the match, Sorrivoli AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Campana came free, but Carlo Bordon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Colecchia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edoardo Cappucci in the 78th minute. Carlo Bordon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Amadei, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Concetto Amadei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlo Bordon was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Bernardo Campana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alfonsine AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Alfonsine AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
