Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Anthony Lenzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Tamburrini, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Fizzonasco's Arturo Amicone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carter Borromeo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Elia Lepre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monte San Giovanni FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 18thth minute of the game Elia Lepre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fizzonasco's Anthony Lenzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Tosi in the 20th minute of play forced Monte San Giovanni FC's goalkeeper Carter Borromeo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Amicone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Carter Borromeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Granata kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Carter Borromeo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enzo Tosi went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Augusto Tamburrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Anthony Lenzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Monte San Giovanni FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Tosi came free, but Carter Borromeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Tosi in the 43rd minute of play forced Monte San Giovanni FC's goalkeeper Carter Borromeo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carter Borromeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Tosi in the 48th minute of the match.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Tamburrini was the one to do the kick off. When Fizzonasco's Arturo Amicone in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Anthony Lenzi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Corrado Caroselli. After 69 minutes, Enzo Tosi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fizzonasco and the Monte San Giovanni FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Fizzonasco got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Tosi. Elia Lepre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anthony Lenzi having to make a save. After 78 played minutes Fizzonasco got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Di Luzio. The audience was convinced that Augusto Tamburrini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anthony Lenzi was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Monte San Giovanni FC's zone, Enzo Tosi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carter Borromeo came out of the goal and Enzo Tosi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 minutes, Enzo Tosi made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Monte San Giovanni FC's Carter Borromeo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arturo Amicone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carter Borromeo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Elia Lepre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Anthony Lenzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monte San Giovanni FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
