Amos Chioda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Attilio Cameli made a huge save. In the 6th minute, Elia Grassi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Grandis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Santa Giustina's Augusto Grandis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Ubriaco in the 8th minute of play. If Amos Chioda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Carta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Attilio Cameli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlo Ronca hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Augusto Carta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Giustina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Carta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Filippo Scibilia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Carta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Montebello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Carta came free, but Attilio Cameli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmondo Ubriaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Augusto Grandis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Carta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Attilio Cameli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Carta, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Elia Mandelli kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Santa Giustina's Augusto Grandis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Grassi in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Carta in the 38th minute of play forced Montebello AFC's goalkeeper Attilio Cameli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attilio Cameli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Carta, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Attilio Cameli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Carta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmondo Ubriaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Montebello AFC's Attilio Cameli got control of the ball when Amos Chioda tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Montebello AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmondo Ubriaco to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Augusto Carta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montebello AFC's Attilio Cameli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute, Amos Chioda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Amos Chioda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filippo Scibilia charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filippo Scibilia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filippo Scibilia hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Alberto Bolli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a rather tough play, Santa Giustina's Daniele Scarpa got a free kick in the 81st minute. Augusto Grandis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Ubriaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Elia Grassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Amos Chioda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Montebello AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Montebello AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
