A collision led to Grisignano AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Felice Menna hit a great ball. Grisignano AFC's Felice Menna got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Picarelli's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Menna came free, but Beppe Esposito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felice Menna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Esposito having to interfere. Aldo Cucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Emilio Di Nucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Parco struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Emilio Di Nucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Picarelli. If Aldo Cucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Puja, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alex Demaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felice Menna was the one to do the kick off. Emilio Di Nucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Parco, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Dino Ruggieri kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Felice Menna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Beppe Esposito. That made the score 0-2 in the 66 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Donato Parco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilio Di Nucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Parco, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Picarelli's Beppe Esposito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Picarelli from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Picarelli's zone, Attilio Guadagnoli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Esposito came out of the goal and Attilio Guadagnoli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Picarelli getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Alex Demaria hit a great ball. Grisignano AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
