Amedeo Molinario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 4 played minutes Casalgiate FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Guidoni. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Augusto Ali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caltana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Ali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonello Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 7 minutes, Augusto Ali managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caltana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Ali was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dario Guidoni was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 12 minutes had been played. After 13 played minutes Casalgiate FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Guidoni. If Augusto Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Frank Ascoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Puce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Frank Ascoli fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Antonello Miranda, passed just outside the right post. Concetto Di Persio took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlo Borromeo. Carlo Borromeo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Frank Ascoli made the kick off in the second half. Dennis Puce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Caltana FC's Carter Taraborrelli got a free kick in the 59th minute. Dennis Puce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Beppe Frabetti fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casalgiate FC's protests and gave Beppe Frabetti a yellow card for diving instead. Beppe Frabetti hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Augusto Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casalgiate FC's Antonello Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Ascoli in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Dennis Puce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casalgiate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Puce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Ascoli in the 78th minute of play forced Casalgiate FC's goalkeeper Antonello Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Puce struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Carlo Borromeo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casalgiate FC. Carlo Borromeo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Antonio Suriani sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Frank Ascoli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caltana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Ascoli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonello Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Casalgiate FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Concetto Di Persio hit a great ball.
