Achille Crognale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edoardo Ingegno hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Alex Sebastiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Pagliuca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Ferdinando Nazzari got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Flavio Lucidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Fioravanti having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Flavio Lucidi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vallenoncello AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Lucidi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Fioravanti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
