Carmine Odisio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Ruggeri in the 4th minute of play. If Beppe Eboli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmine Odisio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulvio Ruggeri went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cristoforo Genovesi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Eboli, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Fulvio Ruggeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Angelo Foddis fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pianura's protests and gave Angelo Foddis a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Pianura got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Foddis. Fulvio Ruggeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Oriali in the 29th minute of play forced Pianura's goalkeeper Carmine Odisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmine Odisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Ruggeri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carmine Odisio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Ruggeri in the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beppe Eboli in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristoforo Genovesi saved Malandriano from getting behind. Beppe Eboli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Genovesi having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Malandriano got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Nelli. In the 42nd minute of the match, Beppe Eboli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristoforo Genovesi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carmine Odisio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Ruggeri, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Pianura players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Malandriano were winning 0-1.

Frank Oriali's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carmine Odisio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Malandriano's Cristoforo Genovesi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Prisco in the 54th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fulvio Ruggeri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmine Odisio was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Pianura's Beppe Eboli got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Concetto Addari hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Frank Oriali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beppe Eboli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristoforo Genovesi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beppe Eboli went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Malandriano's Fulvio Ruggeri got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Biagio Prisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Genovesi having to interfere. Cristoforo Genovesi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe Eboli in the 81st minute of the match. Cristoforo Genovesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Eboli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malandriano's Fulvio Ruggeri got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fulvio Ruggeri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulvio Ruggeri in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmine Odisio saved Pianura from getting behind. The Malandriano players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pianura from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
