Cassina Nuova's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 64th minute of the game, when Alberigo De Gregorio after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Caselle's goal. Alberigo De Gregorio was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Dario Mazzone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fabrizio Calcio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Caselle getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Felice Mattei hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Ettore Mei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo Palma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrizio Festuccia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Angelo Selvi came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Cassina Nuova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Selvi couldn't finish the play. Amedeo Palma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Angelucci in the 79th minute of play. The Cassina Nuova players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Caselle from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
