Arturo Magno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Parodi FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Pietrangelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Basile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Alfieri was a little too slow when Fabio Longo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 20th minute, Arturo Magno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Alfieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Longo in the 22nd minute of the match. San Giacomo's Alfonso Alfieri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save San Giacomo from getting a goal against them. With his leg Alfonso Alfieri managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Parodi FC's Armando Basile fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Fabio Longo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Giacomo's Alfonso Alfieri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute, Arturo Magno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Armando Basile managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parodi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Basile was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Magno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Pietrangelo having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Magno was the one to do the kick off. Concetto Palma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Alfieri having to interfere. In the 56th minute Arturo Magno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Pietrangelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Pietrangelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Magno in the 57th minute of the match. Alvaro Pietrangelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Magno in the 60th minute of play. Alvaro Pietrangelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Magno's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Armando Basile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alfonso Alfieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Basile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Longo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Alfonso Alfieri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parodi FC. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of San Giacomo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Parodi FC:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Arturo Magno managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Giacomo's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Magno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Pietrangelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fabio Longo fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parodi FC's protests and gave Fabio Longo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Parodi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Longo to maneuver through the defense. Parodi FC's Alvaro Pietrangelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Parodi FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Longo in the 90th minute of play forced San Giacomo's goalkeeper Alfonso Alfieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to San Giacomo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Federico Piccoli hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Fabio Longo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Alfieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Basile, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Parodi FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while San Giacomo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
