Ciccio Verdini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Monaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Moncalieri FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Adriano Persia scored to the left of an out of position Beppe Ruggeri, making the score, 2-2. In the 36th minute, Concetto Ciccarelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moncalieri FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 39 minutes into the match, Roncadello's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Monaco came free, but Ciccio Verdini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Persia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Concetto Ciccarelli made a kick off. Roncadello's Ciccio Verdini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Roncadello from getting a goal against them. Beppe Ruggeri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Persia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Roncadello's Ciccio Verdini got control of the ball when Fausto Monaco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, Roncadello's Adriano Persia made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beppe Ruggeri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Attilio Locatelli struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Beppe Ruggeri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roncadello. Adriano Persia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Roncadello's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Ciccarelli came free, but Ciccio Verdini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Riso hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Concetto Ciccarelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Verdini having to interfere.
