Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Concetto Ciccarelli started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Moncalieri FC booed when Casalgiate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Manna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Concetto Ciccarelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Casalgiate's Alberto Pollastrini got a free kick in the 11th minute. Concetto Ciccarelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ettore Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Ciccarelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Monaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Concetto Ciccarelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ettore Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ettore Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Maio in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Emanuele Cirulli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moncalieri FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casalgiate the free kick. 26 minutes into the match, Fausto Monaco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ettore Santo. Casalgiate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Monaco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Concetto Ciccarelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ettore Santo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Fausto Monaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ettore Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Casalgiate's Alberto Pollastrini got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Moncalieri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Iannone came free, but Beppe Ruggeri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moncalieri FC's Beppe Ruggeri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Moncalieri FC from getting a goal against them. Beppe Ruggeri came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Casalgiate's Cristoforo Avesani. But to his dismay, Cristoforo Avesani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrico Iannone was the one to do the kick off. When Emanuele Cirulli was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. In the 55th minute, Emanuele Cirulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Guerra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Moncalieri FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Concetto Ciccarelli hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Casalgiate's Alex Guerra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some careless play in the Moncalieri FC defense, Cristoforo Avesani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beppe Ruggeri. The Moncalieri FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beppe Ruggeri should have stopped the shot. Ettore Santo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Monaco in the 66th minute. If Cristoforo Avesani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beppe Ruggeri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrico Iannone's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Enrico Iannone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Beppe Ruggeri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Monaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrico Iannone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristoforo Avesani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Ruggeri having to interfere. Enrico Iannone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Beppe Ruggeri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristoforo Avesani might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beppe Ruggeri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristoforo Avesani ran back to his position shaking his head. Alex Guerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Beppe Ruggeri. Moncalieri FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Casalgiate fans cheered their team off the field, for while Moncalieri FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
