An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinando Bobbio in the 6th minute of play forced Peretti's goalkeeper Felice Giacomini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Cesare La Penna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terreti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesare La Penna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felice Giacomini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferdinando Bobbio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Trombetta charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Trombetta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 11 minutes into the game, one of Peretti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Felice Giacomini had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Emilio Arcari's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 17th match minute, Peretti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Toninelli to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinando Bobbio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Giacomini having to interfere. If Ferdinando Bobbio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eraldo Tosi kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Dennis Onori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Piacente in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Peretti booed when Terreti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrizio Quadrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinando Bobbio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Giacomini having to interfere. If Andrea Andreozzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Terreti FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Camillo Nola fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Concetto Piacente to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferdinando Bobbio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Giacomini having to interfere. Ercole Petrucci hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ferdinando Bobbio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dennis Onori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Piacente in the 56th minute of play. Emilio Arcari kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Arturo Trombetta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dennis Onori showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ferdinando Bobbio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Felice Giacomini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Peretti got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Toninelli. When Ferdinando Bobbio came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Terreti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Bobbio couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute Ferdinando Bobbio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felice Giacomini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Camillo Nola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Onori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Nola, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Terreti FC! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Peretti. Arturo Trombetta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dennis Onori. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinando Bobbio in the 86th minute of play forced Peretti's goalkeeper Felice Giacomini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Concetto Piacente made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Onori. Terreti FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Peretti were victorious despite being under pressure from Terreti FC for much of the match.
