With a little luck, Quercianella's Donato Cellucci got control of the ball when Diego Di Ruscio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Quercianella's Fortunato Di Crescenzo got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 14 played minutes Caselline AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fedele Russo. Emiliano Cameli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Arturo Bizzarri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Fortunato Di Crescenzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Quercianella's goalkeeper Donato Cellucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Di Ruscio. Arturo Bizzarri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Emiliano Cameli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quercianella's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Cameli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attilio Gerola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Di Ruscio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Cellucci having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, Caselline AFC's Diego Di Ruscio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Cellucci was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Caselline AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quercianella:s goal. Diego Di Ruscio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Emiliano Cameli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Di Ruscio to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Caselline AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emiliano Cameli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Diego Di Ruscio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donato Cellucci having to make a save. In the 58th minute Fabio Ciapponi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Cellucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Diego Di Ruscio came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Caselline AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Di Ruscio couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Arrigo Ciscato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Bizzarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Gerola having to interfere. A collision led to Caselline AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eugenio Coviello hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Emiliano Cameli fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Attilio Gerola, passed just outside the right post. Fedele Russo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Donato Cellucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caselline AFC. If Emiliano Cameli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
