With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Loiacono prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amedeo Di Domenico in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Scafati saved Pescatori AFC from getting behind. Alfonso Scafati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Di Domenico in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Mandelli in the 45th minute of play forced Pescatori AFC's goalkeeper Alfonso Scafati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Amedeo Di Domenico fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Giorgio's protests and gave Amedeo Di Domenico a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, San Giorgio's Amedeo Di Domenico got a free kick in the 46th minute. Dario Grande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Aldo Loiacono made a huge save. The Pescatori AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Giorgio were winning 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in San Giorgio's zone, Fabrizio Di Lello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Loiacono came out of the goal and Fabrizio Di Lello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute Dario Grande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Loiacono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Loiacono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Di Lello, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Pescatori AFC's Dario Grande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
