An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Del Greco in the 8th minute of play forced Finocchio AFC's goalkeeper Aldo Bulla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Corrado Piacentini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristiano Del Greco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Lancia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Spinelli having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Caretti in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriano Spinelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 31 minutes, Augusto Lancia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Finocchio AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Lancia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Finocchio AFC's goalkeeper Aldo Bulla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristiano Del Greco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristiano Del Greco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Finocchio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Del Greco came free, but Aldo Bulla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristiano Del Greco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Alfonso Pardini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Finocchio AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Giorgio the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Del Greco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Finocchio AFC's Aldo Bulla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Finocchio AFC from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, San Giorgio's Cristiano Del Greco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aldo Bulla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 82 minutes, Emiliano Caretti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
