In the 81st minute of the match Amos Imperiale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Bulla skillfully saved the ball. When Amedeo Di Filippo fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Finocchio AFC's protests and gave Amedeo Di Filippo a yellow card for diving instead.
