Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Corrado Castronovo made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes of play, Peretti AFC's Corrado Castronovo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davide Catini was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute, Corrado Castronovo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Davide Catini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Demetrio Varglien came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Chirignago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demetrio Varglien couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, Peretti AFC's Alfredo Capobianco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davide Catini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Alfredo Capobianco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfredo Capobianco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Davide Catini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corrado Castronovo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davide Catini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute Corrado Castronovo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Catini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Cruciani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Christian Cabrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Donato Giannotti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chirignago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Giannotti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chirignago's Demetrio Varglien got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

If Corrado Castronovo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Corrado Castronovo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peretti AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Corrado Castronovo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davide Catini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fulvio Marcucci was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, one of Peretti AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peretti AFC. After 72 played minutes Peretti AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Zoccolo. In the 73rd minute of the match Alexander De Donatis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Cabrini skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Peretti AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Aurelio Zoccolo hit a great ball. Donato Giannotti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Puglielli hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Demetrio Varglien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chirignago's supporters rose to their feet, but Demetrio Varglien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Cabrini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Chirignago's Alexander De Donatis got a free kick in the 79th minute. Dino Carta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davide Catini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Alfredo Capobianco struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Davide Catini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peretti AFC. 94 minutes into the match, Demetrio Varglien notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Peretti AFC's Christian Cabrini. Christian Cabrini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christian Cabrini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Giannotti's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. When the match was over Peretti AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chirignago throughout the match.
