Ennio Napoleone came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Pavarolo's Concetto Ottaviani. But to his dismay, Concetto Ottaviani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Edoardo Petito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felice Sampo. The goal made the score 1-1. Anselmo Valerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Napoleone having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Anselmo Valerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Napoleone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ennio Napoleone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Ottaviani in the 25th minute of the match. Anselmo Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Pavarolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Frasca to maneuver through the defense. Biagio Montagna charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Biagio Montagna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Biagio Montagna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Valerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46thth minute of the game Anselmo Valerio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Litta's Ennio Napoleone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Valerio made a kick off. Felice Sampo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Petito in the 57th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Litta's Edoardo Petito made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felice Sampo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Concetto Ottaviani got free with Ennio Napoleone in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Valerio in the 69th minute of play forced Litta's goalkeeper Ennio Napoleone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Anselmo Valerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pavarolo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Valerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute Anselmo Valerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Napoleone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Pavarolo's Anselmo Valerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ennio Napoleone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Edoardo Petito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felice Sampo. Pavarolo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edoardo Petito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Edoardo Petito struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Felice Sampo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Litta. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Litta had won after a very even match.
