Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alex Scannella kicked off to start the match. Eugenio Panino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Musacchio having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Frank Chiola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermanno Musacchio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ermanno Musacchio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Chiola went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Frank Chiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ermanno Musacchio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Scannella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Alex Scannella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Di Giambattista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francesco Corsi's late challenge caught a Tribola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francesco Corsi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Villa Verucchio AFC's Francesco Corsi got a free kick in the 40th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Panino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Alex Scannella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Villa Verucchio AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
