Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ennio Placidi got the match started through his kick off. If Arturo De Michele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes Casalecchio FC got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Miconi. Ennio Placidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Marsili made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Claudio De Sanctis sent off a good shot on target. If Ennio Placidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Casalecchio FC's Ennio Placidi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristiano Marsili. Cristiano Marsili yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 27 minutes, Flavio Marongiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casalecchio FC and the Vasia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Vasia FC a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frank Riso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Casalecchio FC's Emilio Di Cintio. 1-1. In the 31st minute, Augusto Manzoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Fabio Mandara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Mandara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Di Cintio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Casalecchio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Mandara came free, but Emilio Di Cintio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ennio Placidi might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristiano Marsili. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ennio Placidi ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Mandara made a kick off. Cristiano Marsili came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Casalecchio FC's Ennio Placidi. But to his dismay, Ennio Placidi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Arturo De Michele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 64 minutes, Claudio De Sanctis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casalecchio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio De Sanctis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Casalecchio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Mandara came free, but Emilio Di Cintio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Fabio Mandara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilio Di Cintio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Mandara's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the match, Vasia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Placidi came free, but Cristiano Marsili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Di Cintio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Mandara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio De Sanctis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Vasia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Placidi came free, but Cristiano Marsili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo De Michele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Emilio Di Cintio made a huge save. A collision led to Vasia FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Augusto Manzoli hit a great ball. Casalecchio FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernardo Zisser in the 96th minute.
