Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lorenteggio's Corrado Genovesi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristiano Campese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alfredo Vida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Ruggeri hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Campese in the 11th minute of play forced Lorenteggio's goalkeeper Alfredo Vida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro De Marco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio De Simone having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corrado Genovesi in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Biagio De Simone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 played minutes Lorenteggio got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Carosella. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Cristiano Campese managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zugliano's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Campese was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Vida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Campese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Vida having to interfere. Lorenteggio's Alfredo Vida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Campese in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Zugliano's zone, Alvaro De Marco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio De Simone came out of the goal and Alvaro De Marco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Corrado Genovesi came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Lorenteggio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corrado Genovesi couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, one of Zugliano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zugliano. Dave Miccoli placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Cosimo Carosella hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Cristiano Campese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diego Toto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Vida having to interfere. A collision led to Zugliano getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Enrico Mancini hit a great ball. Corrado Genovesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Biagio De Simone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenteggio's Alfredo Vida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Campese in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th minute Cristiano Campese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Vida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio De Simone made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Alvaro De Marco sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Diego Toto notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lorenteggio's Alfredo Vida. Alfredo Vida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Corrado Genovesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio De Simone having to interfere. Diego Toto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lorenteggio's goalkeeper Alfredo Vida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Zugliano booed when Lorenteggio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosimo Carosella didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Diego Toto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Vida was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Alexander Maestri kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Dave Miccoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Diego Toto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Vida was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lorenteggio players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zugliano.
