Ferruccio Andreoli kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Calanna AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Elia Savoia hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Cristoforo Caroli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Guerrini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute of the match Fulvio Rizzo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Guerrini showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Calanna AFC's Elia Savoia got a free kick in the 20th minute. Bernardo Guerrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Ragazzoni in the 23rd minute of play. Bernardo Guerrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristoforo Caroli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Giorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute Cristoforo Caroli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Guerrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elia Savoia kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Dennis Ragazzoni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manicomio Mombello AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Cesare Zuccarini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Del Papa, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Antonio Giorda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cesare Zuccarini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calanna AFC's Bernardo Guerrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Caroli in the 42nd minute of play. Antonio Giorda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Zuccarini having to interfere. Bernardo Guerrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Caroli in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dennis Ragazzoni was the one to do the kick off. Antonio Giorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristoforo Carolis short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Bernardo Guerrini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
