Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bruno Del Papa took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferruccio Maiorano in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Guerrini saved Calanna AFC from getting behind. Bernardo Guerrini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Arpaia in the 8th minute. Fedele Maio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Del Papa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Arpaia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bernardo Guerrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessandro Chiavetta charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessandro Chiavetta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Calanna AFC booed when Borgo Piave FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Chiavetta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 played minutes, Calanna AFC's Cesare Totaro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fedele Maio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Calanna AFC reached it. Calanna AFC's Bruno Del Papa got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alessandro Chiavetta was shown his second yellow card after 22 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Borgo Piave FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alessandro Chiavetta hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Elia Savoia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calanna AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borgo Piave FC the free kick. In the 24th minute, Elia Savoia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Arpaia got free with Bernardo Guerrini in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Borgo Piave FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ercole Raimondi hit a great ball. Borgo Piave FC's Fedele Maio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Del Papa in the 32nd minute of play. Armando Arpaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Guerrini having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Armando Arpaia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernardo Guerrini, 1-0. In the 43rd minute, Armando Arpaia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Antonio Giorda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 46 played minutes Borgo Piave FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Maiorano. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amerigo Rocchetti during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 53 minutes into the game, one of Borgo Piave FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Fedele Maio, was totally fooled by Calanna AFC's Cesare Totaro, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 60thth minute of the game Armando Arpaia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calanna AFC's Bernardo Guerrini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Del Papa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Amos Berardini fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calanna AFC's protests and gave Amos Berardini a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Amos Berardini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Arpaia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute.
