The referee ignored Calanna AFC's protests and gave Achille Contaldi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Calanna AFC's Achille Contaldi got a free kick in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Achille Schiacciacasse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prospiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Achille Schiacciacasse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Guerrini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the match, Dario Raiola dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernardo Guerrini, 1-0. In the 16th minute, Achille Schiacciacasse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Guerrini was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Comunardo Quercia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Del Papa in the 22nd minute of the match. If Achille Schiacciacasse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Achille Schiacciacasse took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Bernardo Guerrini to make any attempt to save it. Achille Contaldi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Dario Raiola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Guerrini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Prospiano's Comunardo Quercia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Del Papa in the 43rd minute of play. Antonio Giorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Elia Savoia struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Comunardo Quercia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calanna AFC. When Calanna AFC's Bruno Del Papa in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bruno Del Papa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Comunardo Quercia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. When Dario Raiola came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Prospiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Raiola couldn't finish the play. Prospiano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Calanna AFC for a fine match.
