Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Claudio De Bartolo got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrizio De Laurentiis in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriano Cesareo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 3rd match minute, Malalbergo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Coscia to maneuver through the defense. Attilio Signoretti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrizio De Laurentiis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adriano Cesareo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Adriano Cesareo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrizio De Laurentiis in the 14th minute. Attilio Signoretti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Adriano Cesareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio De Laurentiis in the 21st minute of play forced Malalbergo's goalkeeper Adriano Cesareo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Olengo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio De Bartolo came free, but Aurelio Puddu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attilio Signoretti might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Cesareo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Attilio Signoretti ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Claudio De Bartolo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Puddu. Olengo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio De Bartolo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Anfilogino Di Croce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Puddu having to interfere. Olengo FC were furious when Fortunato Lopez was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Olengo FC! The referee gave Malalbergo a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ferruccio Cavallucci, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Olengo FC's Aurelio Puddu. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Attilio Signoretti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Attilio Signoretti came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Olengo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Signoretti couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Claudio De Bartolo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aurelio Puddu, passed just outside the right post. In the 82nd minute, Attilio Signoretti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olengo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Carmine Salvadore charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Malalbergo's Adriano Cesareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Signoretti in the 100th minute of play. Malalbergo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
