Aurelio Puddu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domenico Grimaldi in the 4th minute. Fabrizio De Laurentiis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Enrico Marcon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arrigo Pozzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Puddu having to interfere. Alex Spinosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aurelio Puddu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Alex Spinosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Puddu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Attilio Signoretti came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Olengo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Signoretti couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Alex Spinosa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Arrigo Pozzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrico Marcon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attilio Signoretti in the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Olengo FC's zone, Alex Spinosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Puddu came out of the goal and Alex Spinosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Alex Spinosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pronda's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Spinosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Puddu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Olengo FC's Aurelio Puddu got control of the ball when Arrigo Pozzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felice Grilli kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Alex Spinosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Puddu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Pronda's Arrigo Pozzo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Olengo FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Emilio Fantasia hit a great ball. Enrico Marcon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio De Laurentiis in the 59th minute of the match. Aurelio Puddu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Spinosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alex Spinosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Spinosa struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Aurelio Puddu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pronda. Aurelio Puddu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Grimaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Pozzo in the 72nd minute of play forced Olengo FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Puddu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attilio Signoretti came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Enrico Marcon could save by the left post. Fabrizio De Laurentiis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Marcon having to interfere. If Attilio Signoretti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Attilio Signoretti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olengo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attilio Signoretti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Spinosa in the 86th minute of play forced Olengo FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Puddu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fabrizio De Laurentiis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olengo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pronda.
