Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ercolano FC's Armin Ronconi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Alberto Testi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Polimeno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Augusto Di Cintio kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Alvise Cancemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Reggianini's late challenge caught a Ercolano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Reggianini helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Chiaravalle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Reggianini to maneuver through the defense. Damiano Musso kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Alberto Testi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Polimeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Ronconi in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Alberto Testi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ercolano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Testi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Polimeno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Di Cintio might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvise Ronca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Di Cintio ran back to his position shaking his head. Aldo Polimeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armin Ronconi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alberto Testi came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Ercolano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Testi couldn't finish the play. Enzo Silvagni hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Augusto Di Cintio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Corvo in the 40th minute of play forced Ercolano FC's goalkeeper Alvise Ronca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ciccio Toccaceli fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ercolano FC's protests and gave Ciccio Toccaceli a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ercolano FC's Ciccio Toccaceli got a free kick in the 41st minute. Augusto Di Cintio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Alvise Ronca made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Ercolano FC's zone, Augusto Di Cintio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvise Ronca came out of the goal and Augusto Di Cintio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the game, Biagio Violento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ercolano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chiaravalle FC the free kick. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 50th minute, when Chiaravalle FC's Damiano Musso after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Alvise Ronca in Ercolano FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. After the first half Ercolano FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francesco Corvo was the one to do the kick off. Alvise Ronca came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Chiaravalle FC's Francesco Corvo. But to his dismay, Francesco Corvo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 59 minutes into the game, Alvise Cancemi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ercolano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chiaravalle FC the free kick. 65 minutes into the game, Chiaravalle FC's Francesco Corvo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvise Ronca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armin Ronconi in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Polimeno saved Chiaravalle FC from getting behind. In the 73rdth minute of the game Armin Ronconi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chiaravalle FC's Aldo Polimeno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 77 played minutes Ercolano FC got a freekick which was hit by Carmine Casiraghi. Ciccio Toccaceli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th of the match, Armin Ronconi tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Aldo Polimeno got in the way and made a wonderful save. Armin Ronconi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Chiaravalle FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Damiano Musso hit a great ball. Aldo Polimeno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Testi went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.
