Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Borgaretto AFC's Francesco Ferretti started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borgaretto AFC's goalkeeper Alfredo Cipollone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francesco Ferretti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Adriano Addario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Cipollone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Bruno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute of the match, Camillo Bruno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfredo Cipollone saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Porporano booed when Borgaretto AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Cannone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Cipollone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Lo Iacono in the 27th minute. Francesco Ferretti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Porporano's Adriano Addario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Ferretti in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Borgaretto AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Camillo Bruno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Flavio Lo Iacono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cristiano Borel came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Borgaretto AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Borel couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Camillo Bruno made the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Pozzoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alfredo Cipollone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Lo Iacono succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Francesco Ferretti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Camillo Bruno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Borel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Addario having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Borgaretto AFC's Francesco Ferretti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adriano Addario. That made the score 1-1 after 77 minutes of play. Porporano's Flavio Lo Iacono got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
