Cristoforo Zoccolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Fanfarone in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Arcugnano AFC booed when Borgo Fusara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Garofalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Arcugnano AFC's Angelo Vago broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Borgo Fusara FC's goalkeeper Cristoforo Zoccolo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Violento. After a rather tough play, Borgo Fusara FC's Emanuele Damiani got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Borgo Fusara FC's zone, Christian Violento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristoforo Zoccolo came out of the goal and Christian Violento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Borgo Fusara FC's Cristoforo Zoccolo got control of the ball when Christian Violento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anselmo Colantoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Salomone having to interfere. Alex Garofalo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Garofalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Borgo Fusara FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Garofalo. In the 24th minute of the match, Christian Violento got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristoforo Zoccolo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Felice Fanfarone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Zoccolo having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felice Fanfarone was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Dino Castelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borgo Fusara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Castelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attilio Salomone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Arcugnano AFC's Ernesto Mazzocchi got a free kick in the 54th minute. Attilio Salomone didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Borgo Fusara FC's Cristoforo Zoccolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Violento in the 61st minute of play. Cristoforo Zoccolo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Violento went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Christian Violento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Cristoforo Zoccolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match Cesare Frasca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristoforo Zoccolo skillfully saved the ball. In the 87th minute, Emanuele Damiani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 91 minutes, Anselmo Colantoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgo Fusara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Colantoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Colantoni in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Attilio Salomone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arcugnano AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Borgo Fusara FC for a fine match.
