In the 32nd minute, Damiano Di Giulio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Candiolo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dennis Sacchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Rinaldi in the 37th minute of the match. Candiolo's Damiano Di Giulio got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Andrea Filice got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cesare Bani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damiano Di Giulio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damiano Di Giulio hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Dennis Sacchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Bani in the 73rd minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Quercia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Candiolo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asti AFC the free kick. After 79 played minutes Candiolo got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Quercia. Asti AFC's Amerigo Zarrella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Cinque in the 85th minute of play. Damiano Di Giulio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Amerigo Zarrella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 99 played minutes, Asti AFC's Florian Scrima shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dennis Sacchi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Asti AFC reached it.
