Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Trevignano's Eraldo Di Maria started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Trevignano's Eraldo Di Maria in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brarola's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Trevignano booed when Brarola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Andreola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trevignano's Davide Rosati couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Brarola. A collision led to Brarola getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Aurelio Pagliuca hit a great ball. The supporters of Trevignano booed when Brarola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Pagliuca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Trevignano's Davide Rosati broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Brarola's Cesare Cinque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Treglia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Trevignano got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Di Biagio. Enrico Donati didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 38 minutes in the game, Bruno Berti fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Enrico Donati having to interfere. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trevignano's goalkeeper Dennis Treglia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Aurelio Pagliuca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Treglia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Bruno Berti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eraldo Di Maria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesare Cinque to strike the kick off in the second half. Dennis Treglia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Cinque, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Edmondo Finocchio could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Dennis Treglia however easily saved by the left post. Damiano Di Giambattista kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Dennis Treglia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmondo Finocchio in the 63rd minute. In the 66th match minute, Brarola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Pagliuca to maneuver through the defense. Enrico Donati came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Trevignano's Bruno Berti. But to his dismay, Bruno Berti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Eraldo Di Maria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Cinque in the 81st minute of play forced Trevignano's goalkeeper Dennis Treglia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trevignano's Bruno Berti got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrico Donati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Di Maria, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brarola's goalkeeper Enrico Donati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute Eraldo Di Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Donati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Trevignano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brarola had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
