After 6 minutes, Corrado Rotondi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palidoro FC and the Muradello FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Palidoro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Rotondi to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Palidoro FC's goalkeeper Arturo Graziani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francesco Perna. Francesco Pilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Topatigh in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Carota in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Pilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the game, Christian Carota cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Francesco Pilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Palidoro FC's Christian Carota got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Muradello FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Carota came free, but Francesco Pilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Carota to strike the kick off in the second half. Enzo Topatigh succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 61st playminute. 68 minutes into the game, Muradello FC's Francesco Perna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Graziani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 74 minutes into the game, Anselmo Fantozzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muradello FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palidoro FC the free kick.
