Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlo Coletti started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Gainago FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Zisser had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davide De Grandis. Carlo Coletti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davide De Grandis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Bernardo Zisser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Zisser was a little too slow when Carlo Coletti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Volpe in the 13th minute of play forced Basilicagoiano AFC's goalkeeper Flavio Lancia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Concetto Scrima in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Lancia saved Basilicagoiano AFC from getting behind. In the 30th minute of the match, Davide De Grandis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bernardo Zisser was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Flavio Lancia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Volpe in the 31st minute of play. Concetto Scrima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Lancia having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Fortunato Volpe made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Basilicagoiano AFC's Flavio Lancia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fortunato Volpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Lancia having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Concetto Scrima to strike the kick off in the second half. Concetto Scrima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davide De Grandis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Carlo Coletti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Zisser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davide De Grandis struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Bernardo Zisser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basilicagoiano AFC. Bernardo Zisser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide De Grandis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Gainago FC got a freekick which was hit by Armin Vani. Carlo Coletti struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Bernardo Zisser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basilicagoiano AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide De Grandis in the 63rd minute of play forced Gainago FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Zisser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Basilicagoiano AFC booed when Gainago FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attilio Franceschi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes Gainago FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Grifoni. The audience was convinced that Davide De Grandis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Zisser was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 69 minutes, Armin Vani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gainago FC and the Basilicagoiano AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Basilicagoiano AFC were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Gainago FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eraldo Rosi took the corner. The corner ended in Eraldo Rosi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gainago FC's Bernardo Zisser did a great save. When Carlo Coletti came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Basilicagoiano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Coletti couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Gainago FC booed when Basilicagoiano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Iannone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Concetto Scrima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Lancia having to interfere. Flavio Lancia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fortunato Volpe went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Coletti in the 90th minute of play forced Gainago FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Zisser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Zisser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide De Grandis in the 93rd minute of play. If Fortunato Volpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
