Daniele Latini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrico Formaggio hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filippo Giampieri in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlo Rotolo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniele Latini got free with Achille Garibaldi in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlo Rotolo came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Soprabolzano's Amos Iannotti. But to his dismay, Amos Iannotti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Commune FC's Domenico Cremonese got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filippo Giampieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Rotolo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Commune FC's Anselmo Berardini got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Daniele Latini who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Achille Garibaldi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Soprabolzano's zone, Cristiano Tucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Achille Garibaldi came out of the goal and Cristiano Tucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Berardini charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Berardini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Commune FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Berardini to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Daniele Latini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Domenico Cremonese managed to get in a good position for a shot. Commune FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenico Cremonese was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achille Garibaldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Achille Garibaldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Cremonese in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Amos Iannotti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soprabolzano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Iannotti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, one of Commune FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 77th minute Domenico Cremonese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achille Garibaldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Domenico Cremonese managed to get in a good position for a shot. Commune FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenico Cremonese was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achille Garibaldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Amos Iannotti came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Soprabolzano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amos Iannotti couldn't finish the play. Domenico Cremonese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Garibaldi having to interfere. Filippo Giampieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Rotolo having to interfere. The Commune FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Soprabolzano's performance. The match ended with a win for Soprabolzano.
