Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fortunato Ricciuti made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 played minutes, Bettole FC's Adriano Mazza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlo Gervasi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bettole FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Di Lello in the 8th minute of play forced Bettole FC's goalkeeper Cristoforo Luzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Gervasi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filippo De Grandis in the 14th minute. Filippo De Grandis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Gervasi having to interfere. If Fortunato Ricciuti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristoforo Luzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessio Pesce in the 20th minute of play. Carlo Gervasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippo De Grandis, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Fortunato Ricciuti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bettole FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fortunato Ricciuti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Gervasi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Ceresoli during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Serreta FC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Ceresoli. Cristoforo Luzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Di Lello in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Frank Di Lello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Luzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Fortunato Ricciuti took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Carlo Gervasi to make any attempt to save it. Alessio Pesce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Luzi having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franco Causio during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Frank De Matteis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bettole FC's Cristoforo Luzi didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Pesce in the 43rd minute of play forced Bettole FC's goalkeeper Cristoforo Luzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessio Pesce to make the kick off. Alessio Pesce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Luzi having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fortunato Ricciuti in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlo Gervasi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alessio Pesce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 69th minute, but Cristoforo Luzi got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Bettole FC hanging dry this time. Cristoforo Luzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Pesce in the 71st minute of the match. Alessio Pesce received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristoforo Luzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Alessio Pesce slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 73rd minute. Alessio Pesce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristoforo Luzi having to make a save. Filippo De Grandis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Carlo Gervasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Frank Di Lello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serreta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Di Lello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristoforo Luzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Serreta FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bettole FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
