Dario Gaudino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Rezzato AFC's Alessio Mazzone fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Alessio Mazzone struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Dario Gaudino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rezzato AFC. Dario Gaudino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Mazzone, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Chivasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Fantasia came free, but Dario Gaudino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro Fantasia in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Gaudino saved Chivasso FC from getting behind. Alessandro Fantasia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Diego Cinalli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermanno Del Vecchio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rezzato AFC's Alessandro Fantasia got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Cinalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Del Vecchio having to interfere. Diego Cinalli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ermanno Del Vecchio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rezzato AFC's Ermanno Del Vecchio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Leone in the 40th minute of play. If Alessandro Fantasia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Cinalli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Fabio Leone made a precise shot to the right of Ermanno Del Vecchio. Rezzato AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabio Leone to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Fantasia got free with Dario Gaudino in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Rezzato AFC booed when Chivasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Di Mattia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Leone in the 59th minute of play forced Rezzato AFC's goalkeeper Ermanno Del Vecchio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Cinalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Del Vecchio having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Amos Colagrossi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chivasso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rezzato AFC the free kick. A collision led to Chivasso FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Amos Colagrossi hit a great ball. Alessandro Fantasia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Dario Gaudino made a huge save. 79 minutes into the game, Elia Pesce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chivasso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rezzato AFC the free kick. Elia Pesce hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Carlo Clementi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Cinalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Del Vecchio having to interfere. When Chivasso FC's Diego Cinalli in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rezzato AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 93 minutes into the game, Alessandro Fantasia lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Dario Gaudino. After a rather tough play, Rezzato AFC's Ermanno Guerini got a free kick in the 96th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Leone in the 97th minute of play forced Rezzato AFC's goalkeeper Ermanno Del Vecchio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chivasso FC had won after a very even match.
