Ercole Lancia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Maldini having to interfere. Ercole Lancia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ercole Lancia in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Maldini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arasì's Francesco Bernardi got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Albertini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francesco Bernardi in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristoforo Guerrieri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ettore Gaudino struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Armando Maldini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinarella AFC. In the 42nd match minute, Pinarella AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Gaudino to maneuver through the defense. Pinarella AFC's Arrigo Di Giovanni got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Fabio Albertini struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Cristoforo Guerrieri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arasì. In the 56th minute, Alfredo Perilli sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Arasì's Armando Maldini didn't even have to move. After having played for 57 minutes, Ercole Lancia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinarella AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ercole Lancia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristoforo Guerrieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Albertini, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Arasì's Alvaro Pani got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ercole Lancia in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Maldini saved Arasì from getting behind. Arrigo Di Giovanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Maldini having to interfere. Fabio Albertini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Cristoforo Guerrieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Bernardi in the 81st minute of play forced Pinarella AFC's goalkeeper Cristoforo Guerrieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristoforo Guerrieri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Albertini's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Cristoforo Guerrieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Bernardi in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute Ercole Lancia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Maldini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Pinarella AFC's Ercole Lancia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armando Maldini. Armando Maldini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pinarella AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
