Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fausto Filippini kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute, Carlo Rapone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barlassina FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Concetto Sanna's late challenge caught a Barlassina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Concetto Sanna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Concetto Sanna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Filippini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ferruccio Petruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Filippini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Consalvi charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dave Consalvi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Dezerega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Consalvi to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th match minute, Barlassina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Saraceni to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Di Filippo, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Diego Briano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Palomba having to interfere. Frank Lancia hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ferruccio Petruzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Filippini, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Concetto Sanna hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Ferruccio Petruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Filippini in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelio De Gregorio to make the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Dezerega's Diego Briano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Palomba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aurelio De Gregorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Diego Briano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Palomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Dezerega's goalkeeper Ferruccio Petruzzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlo Rapone. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barlassina FC! In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Dezerega. Claudio Di Filippo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernardo Palomba. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Barlassina FC's Alberto Mastronardi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Amerigo Cavallucci hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Carlo Rapone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Palomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Briano in the 83rd minute of play. When Diego Briano came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Dezerega fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Briano couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Dezerega players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
