Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Flavio Borromeo took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Borromeo in the 3rd minute of play forced Grezzana's goalkeeper Ercole Mastrangelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Grezzana's Ferruccio Caruso got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Fulvio Macchione came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Grezzana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulvio Macchione couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Christian Azzolina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grezzana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ercole Mastrangelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Borromeo in the 14th minute of play. If Fulvio Macchione had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Scandella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Macchione, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Azzolina succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 27th playminute. Casalgiate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Fulvio Macchione scored to the left of an out of position Emilio Scandella, making the score, 3-0. If Christian Azzolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Fulvio Macchione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Scandella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulvio Macchione made a kick off. Cristoforo De Sisti kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Casalgiate's Emilio Scandella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Macchione in the 53rd minute of play. Christian Azzolina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Emilio Scandella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Scandella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Azzolina in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Christian Azzolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Scandella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Fulvio Macchione managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grezzana's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulvio Macchione was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Scandella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ercole Mastrangelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristoforo Berti in the 93rd minute. Grezzana's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
