After 54 played minutes Linate got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Candeloro. Bernardo Amicone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Locatelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Amicone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Florio's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Edmondo Carota notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cogorno AFC's Bianco Russo. Bianco Russo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 65 minutes of play Cogorno AFC's Flavio Lopez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Cogorno AFC booed when Linate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Guidoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cogorno AFC's Bianco Russo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Guidoni in the 83rd minute of play.
