When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Fausto Cappucci sped through Sanda AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carter Santarelli. Carter Santarelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulvio Scarano went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Achille Fontanive received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Amos Di Felice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Sanda AFC's Achille Fontanive made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amos Di Felice was left in no man's land by his defense there! Achille Fontanive sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Amos Di Felice made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Fontanive in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Murelle Vechia AFC's Amerigo Martano got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Antonello Brandolini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Amerigo Martano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Murelle Vechia AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sanda AFC the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Murelle Vechia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Martano to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Murelle Vechia AFC's goalkeeper Amos Di Felice had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonello Brandolini. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Achille Fontanive to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Murelle Vechia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Sforza to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Murelle Vechia AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anselmo Selvaggi was slow to take the kick. During this time Sanda AFC's players had a chance to rest. Anselmo Selvaggi made a great header on Sanda AFC's corner, it was just that Murelle Vechia AFC's Amos Di Felice managed to reach the ball for a save. Antonello Brandolini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Murelle Vechia AFC's goalkeeper Amos Di Felice, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antonello Brandolini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Amos Di Felice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murelle Vechia AFC's Amos Di Felice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Fontanive in the 77th minute of play. Fausto Cappucci was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Murelle Vechia AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Achille Fontanive had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Murelle Vechia AFC's Carter Santarelli threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fausto Cappucci, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Achille Fontanive blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amos Di Felice having to make a save. In the 97th minute of the match, Fausto Cappucci tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carter Santarelli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
