Amos Di Felice was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 20 minutes, Amedeo Strano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murelle Vechia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amedeo Strano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franco Coccia kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Murelle Vechia AFC's zone, Aldo De Nardis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Di Felice came out of the goal and Aldo De Nardis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amos Di Felice stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciccio Paoletti's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When Cesare Antonacci fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Murelle Vechia AFC's protests and gave Cesare Antonacci a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Grugliasco FC booed when Murelle Vechia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Antonacci didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Cappucci in the 33rd minute of play forced Grugliasco FC's goalkeeper Francesco Mascitti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aldo De Nardis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Cappucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Francesco Mascitti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Murelle Vechia AFC booed when Grugliasco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edoardo Baruffa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes Grugliasco FC got a freekick which was hit by Franco Pocobello. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aldo De Nardis was the one to do the kick off. Ciccio Paoletti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amos Di Felice read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Franco Pocobello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grugliasco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Pocobello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amos Di Felice breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 minutes of play Murelle Vechia AFC's Cesare Antonacci was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 67th match minute, Murelle Vechia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Antonacci to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Murelle Vechia AFC's Amos Di Felice got control of the ball when Ciccio Paoletti tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Fulvio Scarano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulvio Scarano struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Francesco Mascitti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murelle Vechia AFC. Fulvio Scarano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aldo De Nardis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Amos Di Felice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
