Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adriano Strazzabosco kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Montecchio AFC booed when Boion AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Di Clemente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Alberigo Vinci shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciccio Baggio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10th minute Ernesto Pizziolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Baggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Montecchio AFC's Cosimo Albanesi got a free kick in the 11th minute. Fulvio Di Clemente hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Anselmo Vinci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Fortuna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Armando Antonacci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Adriano Strazzabosco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boion AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Boion AFC's Armando Antonacci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Fortuna in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Anselmo Vinci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Vinci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Antonacci having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Boion AFC's Andrea Dionisi got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Fortuna to strike the kick off in the second half. Bruno Del Bello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciccio Baggio having to make a save. After 54 played minutes Montecchio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Achille Fantasia. In the 57th minute, Ernesto Pizziolo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Domenico Treglia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montecchio AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boion AFC the free kick. Domenico Treglia hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ciccio Baggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Strazzabosco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute of the match, Adriano Strazzabosco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciccio Baggio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Frank Fortuna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Pizziolo got free with Ciccio Baggio in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the game, Adriano Strazzabosco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciccio Baggio. Adriano Strazzabosco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 89 minutes into the match, Montecchio AFC's goalkeeper Ciccio Baggio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Pizziolo. Bruno Del Bello charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Del Bello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Montecchio AFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Boion AFC to win.
